Sorry for the spam but....

I'll Probably get knacked from admin for this but shy bairns get nowt!

Benfield has changed venues. The new one is great, but loads of members have vanished like an old oak table!

Please have a look at this guy's.. 90% of us race the same clubs, we need to promote this one. Its a Friday night for the kids who cant race on Sundays (school next morning).

Where's the spam??

DAVO 09-05-2015 09:37 PM

No spam all the clubs need to work together up here

Totally agree the need to work together, just aslong as it works all ways as it hasn't perviously!!!

Funny time of the year for indoor club racing tho, some people do the bigger out door events so maybe miss a week or two of indoor racing, along with hols,BBQs and other hobbies it always seems a tough time to keep going, when I first started racing up north I remember a busy night for seaham was 8-10 people and even lending people cars to race to make up numbers! It may seem along way away but come September time I'm sure things will be back to normal aslong as the club can keep ticking over thro the summer. If you say you have a good space for an outdoor event maybe hold a one off cup day to try and bank some ££s to keep you going,

Cheers guys, we do have outdoor meetings in planning, the danger is we might not last that the long!

My Mrs goes scatty at me for going Seaham. She'd implode if I did 2 nights! Plus that toll fees a bit steep lol.

Sorry to hear Benfield is struggling for numbers. Unfortunatley we already have prior commitments on Fridays, plus it's a bit too far north even for a non-school night, for us to make it regularly.

We will support the club when we can, I.e. Summer events and series etc, so hope numbers pick-up.

Brave Man Honrico - I posted on here when Seaham weren't racing for a few weeks that their members were welcome at TyneMet until they restarted and was shot down in flames then the post was removed!

Did expect that, but the attendees at the this club are all seaham members too!
