cooling fan for motor

which is best? blow onto the motor or suck air away?

Blowing will always be more directional so should cool locally quicker

Very interesting question, at speed I believe it serves no purpose unless mounted on top on a heat sink blowing or sucking
In front of the motor blowing at it
On a heatsink blowing backwards mounted at the back
No expert cos that's a has been under pressure but makes sense
