Hi Steve, I've not had my xb4 that long, but I'll try and give you some tips!

If your using the front camber link re-enforcement plate then removing the diffs can be abit tricky (same with using the thicker non standard shock towers) I'd suggest just taking the shock tower off if this is the case.

Removing the diff internals is quite easy aside from one of the bigger internal gears. Luckily I have the steel one so its easy enough with a magnet, Not too sure how you'd do it with the composite ones but hey.

make sure you put the pivot pins in the right way round! (sounds silly but I've nearly done it a few times) same with the steering bushings.

Apart from that its all really easy to work on and the manual is great :)

Thanks for the reply , which pivot pins do you mean ?

Not removed the diffs yet, but wanting to change the oil. Should I have spare gaskets ready before I do ? Not got any spares yet , wondering if there's anything that's a must . Seems a strong car although I have broken a front arm , but it was a big hit into something that was solid.

Gaskets aren't something you have to change every time you change oil, but if you didn't build the car, it'll probably be good to have some handy in case the old ones are split.

A must if you haven't got them already are the driveshaft savers from Exotek or XRAY, they replace the plastic ones & help stop the pins coming out in a race, Sod's law says it's always a centre shaft that'll lose its pin, as they're the most work to change!

DMS PARTZ shock towers are good to have for the extra row of camber link holes, esp on the rear just makes the car work better.

Just checked and the car has the exotek safety cups , the cars in good condition and has been looked after by the previous owner . I was thinking shock towers and arms for spares , looking forward to trying it outdoors .
