Thunder power motors
 

A quick question I own 2 of these motors when Iv recived them there both set to have 20'. Degrees timing on the can is there any reason for this would it harm them outing it back to 0?

Why would you want to put them back to 0 they come with 20 degrees timing out of the box i'd just leave them at that i've been running Thunder Power motors for at least a year with no problems sometimes running the timing at 30 degrees

I'm still fairly new to all this sensor motors, I was always told to run them on 0, do you find much diffrence between 20-30?

They come out the box with 20 degrees just run them at that they'll be fine and yes you do notice the differance when changing the timing but usually i just run them at 20 degrees not had any problems at all

Run them at 20+ degrees, if you retard them to 0 they’ll over heat and burnout, but always check your temp after any adjustment. we have run these for over three years with out any problems:thumbsup:

Don't forget to adjust gearing when adjusting timing

Less timing bigger pinion

More timing smaller pinion
