What pinions in the pit box for 2WD buggy racing?

Waiting for my Yokomo YZ2 to arrive and was just wondering what pinion range I should have?

I'm assuming it's 48DP pitch in buggies right?

What motor you running and what fdr does it need? Get one or two pinions either side of that so you can tune for the track. For instance, I "need" a 23 to hit the fdr on my 4wd, I've got 21 through to 25. (Plus a shed load more if I use a different motor or spur.......Or car!)

Yes, 48DP for almost all buggies.

Yup 22 tooth comes in the box as mentioned. I run that with my 7.5 motor in mine. Never change it, was same with BMAX2. I only geared upto 26 tooth when using a 10.5, and a 30 tooth with a 13.5 or brushed saturn 20T.
There is also a gear chart in the manual, page 21. With the standard 80 tooth spur gear the car will take pinions 20 to 30.
