new to u.k off road racing , help
 
hi,

all

english born guy 42yo moving from australia to {stratford upon avon }.

i have searched and found that there's around 5. 1/10th off road buggy clubs within around 1 hrs drive .

my qestion is does any one know off a club . if you have free time in the week day you can turn up and do some practice racing .

Kidderminster allows members to use the track for free at any time other than when events are on / track work parties are happening.

Great venue!

Sure you will, I try to race as much as possible these days.

What car(s) are you running? Sure there will be people around who can help with setups etc.

Main thing to get your head around is the tires, after that it's just how dramatically things change with a couple of spots of rain.

Other good places to practice on high grip would be indoors at Silverstone (Tuesday nights) and there is a new venue, Midlands Raceway which will open soon.

That is also an indoor venue that will be open a lot of the time.

Mid West region is very friendly but also very competitive.

i run . yokomo , orian ,

iv only got the bmax4 lll at the moment . that i race with .

yes seems like the yellow mini spike is the top tire .

and these cut down fronts . it seems they cut the wheel too ??

No need to worry about that in the mid west, if grip really high most will go to a 2wd front tire on a standard wheel.

Midlands Raceway in Cradley is a 45 minutes drive from your location. Open 5 days a week.
