Tempting to try some airbrushing

Hi chaps

Got a few months off work and I'm thinking of giving airbrushing a try. Just looking for a bit of advice for a beginner.
Been looking at a few cheap sets on ebay for around 40
I think I sort of know what to do but could do with a newbie guide.
Any advice welcome

Do it you wont regret it

What kind of airbrushing do you want to do? just bodyshells or other stuff as well?

This is a very good book
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0...ilpage_o06_s00

covers many aspects of airbrushing
If you want I have some ebooks on weathering etc that covers airbrushing as well

drop me a PM with your email and I'll give you access to my shared drive

I have that exact kit. Works ok, but I recently replaced compressor and found it made a difference that was noticeable. Ok if paint is very thin.

I went for one like this with the tank.

I bought a new airbrush around 6 months later but to be honest I cant tell much difference from the cheapo ones supplied.

Careful though, next you'll want a vinyl cutter!

Have a look at this thread

Good simple guide

I would also recommend one with a tank
