hi guys

i have been waiting for surgery for a while now (need my spleen and gallbladder removing) so i had a smile on my face for about 30 secs when a letter from the hospital dropped through the door the other day so i started reading through it i got to the part with the date of my op i have to go in on th 24/12/2008 :( thanks alot nhs . i know i need it doing but the timing is a bit s*&t i will be unconcious for a week lol not only will i miss crimbo new year aswell :(.

hell thats crap luck. celebrate it with friends and family before you go in, not the same i know but will still make u smile and keep everyone else happy as well ;)

Thats a bummer mate :o..i spent alot of time in hospital when i was younger before i got a nebuliser for home i spent birthdays in there had to watch hull fair from the hospital windows its crap but at least your getting sorted out and we have a NHS :woot: well sort of one LOL.

yeah i was in and out as a kid alot i thought i got over the condition i have but now its started causing me grief again so the op i am having will hopefully sort me out i will be jus gald to get it out of the way . even though timing is a bit crap i'll get over it .

I went into my managers office the other day to look at the off duty and no smile came across my face I am working christmas eve and Christmas day to do the operations.:thumbdown: Alot of people would jump at the chance to get there op done whatever date it is as long as it is being done, there is not much racing going on so you will be fit for the season.

yeah hopefully be fine when its done will need 8 weeks before i am fully fit agian though so i will have plenty of time to build and fettle my xmas pressies lol
