Which Lipo saddles then??

Hi guys. I already own a few CORE 5000 lipo sticks and am really happy with them. Firstly I wanted to ask if you guys are convinced these are a genuine 25c rating as being 5000mah it seems like there arent many other lipo's around that can match these numbers. Just wondering.
Also thinking of selling up all my comp. sub-c packs and smart tray se' dischargers and moving onto lipo saddle's. Im interested in some opinions on which lipo's to go for-Trackpower etc..Thanks in advance- Jason.

The core lipo's are 25c, they wouldn't sell them with wrong spec to whats described on the item, the orion platinum lipo's are 4800 with only a 15c rating, it's however the manufacturer want's the spec.
there's only trakpower that have saddle lipos available to public at current and checkpoint also have saddle packs which made by trakpower but havn't heard of any other manufacturers who have brought out saddle packs at current so you only got one choice of various capacitys from track power or checkpoint :D

Reedy's got a new 5000+ saddle pack.
SMC and MaxAmps also have their own saddle packs.
LRP too but I believe theirs is a soft pack.
(see redrc for details)

You'll be spoilt for choice.

I myself am currently using the Trakpower 4800s. No complaints. A bit tall though. If space is an issue, then the 3200s are more ideal.

And are the 3200 sufficient in term of timing for a 4X4 (5 minutes ?).

i can get 3 runs out of a 4000mah lipo in 2wd so you will have no prob will 3200mah saddles in a 5min round

Easily, but if you are requiring brca legality, wait for the list to come out.
I have the trakpower 4800s which are going to be too tall for the regs.
Ok, just spotted where you are - ignore the BRCA bit!

Will the trackpower 4800s fit in a B44 with a few mods?

I bought the diggety designs kit for my B44, which was the only mod I made to the car.
However, you don't need it, longer screws and spacers for the battery posts would work, but you may need to dremel a little off the posts plus you'd ahve to find some way to stop the saddles sliding around.

The only other thing I've done was cut lead plate to fit in the cell slots on the chassis to bring it back up to nimh weight.

They're still 110g lighter than my nimhs were, filling the cell slots with lead adds 85g and a couple of stick on weights under the driveshaft between the cells added another 15g.
