ESC thoughts
 

Afternoon gents,

Try as I might I can't nicely install my existing ESC in my new KF so looking to purchase a new one. It will run with a 8.5 turn motor.

After looking around I think my best options for size / price / wire runs are the following:

Vampire SR1 @ £66
Vampire SR1+ @ £93
Dual Sky 870 @ £100

Anyone come up with pros / cons from experience or even other options?

May be interested in second hand if anyone has anything along these lines.

The Vampire SR1+ speedo fits nicely into the KF. They seem pretty reliable and easy to use and program. Easy to solder as there are metal tabs to solder you wires to.

Not had any experience of the Dual Sky speedo but got no complaints about the Vampire stuff.

I run the dualsky 870, not had any problems whatsoever
