LIPO BATTERY ?

Hi Chaps

Just wondering what you all use, iv bought the TURNIGY SHORTY NANO TEC 4200 HARDCASE LIPO BATTERY £30 delivered more less, from hobbyking I get about 35 to 40 minuets out of this before esc cuts it off that's just messing about

Just wondering what others are good and is it better running a higher capacity

iv only got the 1 and looking to buy a second

if you need to no what im running, iv got a tmc 2 v1 with , Speed Passion Brushless Reventon Pro 1.1 ESC V3.0 7.5R Motor, absima servo

Thanks steve

You are running that battery for way too long. It is bad to run the battery to cutoff. That amount of run time is amazing actually, back in the NiCad days you were lucky to get 5 minutes of run time.

that running time was with a 60a hobbywing quick run esc sorry iv only just fitted the speed passion combo so not timed the run on the new set up

been looking at the other lipos but not sure if just as same as the 1 iv already got plus there cheaper

Giving the Lipo battery that much stick, I would be very careful on how I charged it.

Don't charge above 1C, and don't charge it if it shows signs of being under pressure from inside.

Also, keep it in a fireproof container whilst charging and don't leave it unattended whilst charging either.

They don't often erupt in flames but they can. Statistics don’t help at all when you are the one in a million!

The turnigy Lipo's are good, that is what I use.

I've been using Abisma shorties for a couple of months now, great performance and zero swelling
