Live RC - Bad experiences?
 

Who else has had a bad experience with Live RC?

My Bonus Lap wasn't due to expire until May 4th 2009, yet for some reason a few weeks ago PayPal took out £20 for renewal... I checked my subscriptions and that is empty, and nothing is setup for automatic renewal. There was no way I was going to renew either as the video feed etc was really poor during the worlds (8th) and I don't find it value for money.

However my money is out of my account, and I've been completely ignored by them. PayPal have been beyond crap, phone them up and they tell you to do a dispute online, and you do that and you get some generic response which is no help whatsoever.

All I know is my money is gone and the two parties involved don't care and I can't get it back! I really want it back, it's my money and I feel robbed. This isn't the first time I have been ignored by Brandon as well, yet when you want to pay him money to advertise on his site he is there straight away... what a joke. I should clarify I am quite sure that it was a PayPal bug that sent the money, but still you would expect a refund or even a reply when it is not due or required.

Anyone else had troubles with them? If anyone wants my advice, don't pay any money to them.

*Update* - Odd that after I send an email saying I will kick up fuss I get a reply and get my money refunded. I can't complain now it is back but can't help feeling I was ignored for weeks up to that point...

Glad you got your money back Glypo, there's nowt as irritating as companies who ignore you once they have your money.

At least others may not suffer the same fate due to the bad publicity of the firm, which, when money is concerned, deserve no less.

paypal are like that, I have had similar, eBay are just as bad too, until you start talking legal jargon like, Defamation of Character, then, funnily, they move.

bonus laps membership didnt get you very good quality at 8th worlds but it was only not so good because the all access pass was getting like HD quality..:thumbsup:
