Hi guys

I am a new starter I'm picking up a roller tomorrow

Iv been looking about at the servo motors
Speedo etc

Just not sure what to put in my car

I do have mate that run the ko propo servo and the
reedy sonic motors

But as I am new iv no idea what model or witch type is good or fits
In this buggy ope I'm not coming across as a pain

If anyone can tell me asacly what they have in there's

Karting, iv been looking at theses on ebay

Savox SC-1251MG Low Profile Digital Servo (9KG/0.09) SAV-SC1251MG

is this the same one your using ?

Al3xis007 14-12-2014 10:32 AM

I run I'm my tm2
Spektrum s6070 servo
Spektrum RX
Tekin rs pro
Orion 7.5/6.5

In my experience Savox servos are a bit power hungry on the speedo's BEC, you can pick up a decent speedo on here or ebay, I'd go for a speed passion gt2.0/2.1 second hand and motors are cheap on ebay

Hi,

I run Absima,

Motors, 7.5, 8.5 and 13.5 awesome motors

CTS 10 Speedo again awesome

Absima servos these are the best servos I have ever used. I have run orion, expert, sanwa and savox

They come with steel gears and are super smooth in use.

Oh and Absima charger.......

ABSIMA ALL THE WAY:thumbsup:

Hi, consider the Absima electronics as they have great performance and good value. Myself and the majority of the TeamC team drivers use Absima so you'll not be short of advice and support.

ESC - Revenge CTS 10 - £104.99
Motor - Revenge CTM - £74.05 (7.5 or 8.5 recomended)
Servos - Combat Series - From £41.75

Hi, we have all that in stock if it helps. I linked all the parts in my post above. The Absima Low Profile servos are great, especially as they have steel gears.

Kev :)

Hi Kev Lee

I was just asking why there was different kg as I am new to all this

iv just bought the

Servos - Combat Series - From £41.75

from your link above  thanks Steve

I ran Team C with Absima electronics all last season and have no intention of changing. The CTS 10 speed controller is the smoothest I've come across even compared with more expensive equivalents. The motors are very quick but not over aggressive at low end so suit today's high grip surfaces superbly.

I intend to change to Absima servos too very soon.

You won't be disappointed, probably the best 'high spec' electronics available right now.

brooksy 17-12-2014 09:58 PM

I can vouch for the esc,I've just bought my third one!:woot:

fivepointnine 29-12-2014 09:13 PM

Do you guys think a 4.5 motor running blinky mode on the ESC would be too much for the average astro track with my TM2 V1?

Hulk 29-12-2014 10:42 PM

Far too much in my opinion. Why would you want to run a 4.5? Maximum I would ever run in 2wd is 6.5. Any faster and you will have no feel around the infield and the car will be out of control.

fivepointnine 30-12-2014 03:42 AM

I can get an amazing deal on a 4.5, that is why I was asking. Ill just pick up a 6.5

Ashlandchris 30-12-2014 08:08 AM

I've got a 13.5 in mine for indoor and have to say that even at batley where there is a pretty long straight, there is no appreciable lack of pace at full whack.

Obviously different driving styles and levels will cope with different turn motors, but I'd suggest 4.5 is not necessary in a 2wd

brooksy 30-12-2014 09:02 AM

I've got an LRP 7.5 in mine and it's more than quick enough. A 4.5 is way too much, even in a 4wd.
