The entry form and information for the British Winter Open Championship to be held at Worksop on 7th Feb 2015 (2wd) and 8th Feb 2015 (4wd) was published by the BRCA on 26th November, please follow this link here to see the information, then you can download the entry form:

http://www.brca.org/content/2015-british-winter-open-championship/22244

Worksop have a good number of entries are already in so don’t delay as it’s first come, first served!
If you want to come and race at the event then you need to do as it states on the entry form, either post the entry off or email the entry form across to [email protected] . No entries can be accepted by just a PM on oOple, sorry. So please complete the form and get your entry and payment sent off either way as above to avoid disappointment. There is a max entry in both classes and then a reserve list will be set up. Please spread the word to others who might not see this.
If you have already entered - thank you! You should have received confirmation for your entry either by return email or through the post if you included the relevant sae or stamped addressed postcard. If you haven't then please PM ‘Muzzy’ through here to look into it for you, it could get delayed or lost in the post this time of year.

Will be a fantastic event, hope to see you there!

Sorry pal I still cant see a timetable or something similar, probably me not looking in right place. Is there practice beforehand etc?

fidspeed 29-12-2014 09:20 PM

usual format is 1 round of practice for everyone (4 min) to get everyone in

I couldn't guarantee this will be the case at the BWOC though

the "natural" rubberised surface is quite low grip though, certainly no astroturf grip levels

great organising team though enjoy it

Tyres

Are there any tyre restrictions for BWOC?

fidspeed 30-12-2014 11:54 AM

Brca info says not but the advice given is schuey yellow minipins
regards fid

mark christopher 30-12-2014 01:06 PM

BWOC is allways open tyres, but mini pins are known to work well

as the event is run to national rules, I expect it will run to national format.

therefore 2 rounds of practice starting at 8am (expect them to be 3mins)
4 rounds of round by round qualifying starting at 10am
followed by one round of finals for all + 3 leg A finals
expect to be finished around 6.30pm

Does anyone know if they're any places left for 2 & 4wd?

Danny Harrison 01-01-2015 12:14 PM

Put in entries and cross your fingers is my thinking :)

Entry confirmation ?

Sent my entry and payment electronically before Xmas but not had any confirmation yet ?

brooksy 04-01-2015 07:45 PM

You should be in if you've paid. I've filled the entry form in at Worksop today and Muzzy said there was still places available in both classes.

Hi John

Muz replied to me confirming entry so worth sending him an email to confirm.

jrenton 12-01-2015 09:20 AM

Confirmation now received.

Thanks Mark

entry update.......

Ok as of now there are 20 spaces remaining in 2wd and 28 spaces remaining in 4wd. I shall try and keep this up to date so people know how many spaces are left. If you want to book in and race at this event, please do it sooner rather than later. Also the above doesn't include the people that have posted entry forms or emailed them but still not paid, please get paid up! Your entry isn't confirmed until you have paid, so if other people enter and pay then you will miss out!
This will be a great event, many great drivers attending, hope to see you there.
