V2 Chassis onto a V1 RTR

The Dimec Type B chassis on my DEX210 V1 has broken & I thinking about going to the V2 alloy chassis, what other parts would I HAVE to change? I do have an old DEX210 alloy chassis (the shorter one) with sidepods so I could use those sidepods if they happen to fit the later chassis.

Hi safk,

The V1 side pots does not fit to the V2 chassis, because it is longer by 8mm than the V1.
You will need the V2 side pots as well, and the rear end of the V2 doesn't have the cutout for the rear bumper, all other should be the same!?
On the V2, the rear bumper sits under the new -2 RR hanger, they have a cutout for the bumper.

Why you dont run your V1 alloy chassis, if you have it allready, do you need the benefit of the 8mm longer chassis?

Its a V1 RTR car, plastic chassis only IIRC.

Other than that, jsut chassis and sidepods needed from what i can tell. (I thought about putting a V2 front end on my V1, so spent some time looking at the manual. Decided against it in the end!)

I already had the type B chassis which also runs the bumper under the rear hanger (admittedly not the -2 lrc version though) so I those parts already.
I do have a complete original length alloy chassis car but seem to get on better with the longer car on the high grip astro that we race on.
I thought rather than just buy another Dimec chassis that I would take the opportunity to upgrade to the later version.

Ok, than it would be the best, to get the V2 chassis and side pots, nothing else should be needed!
