Multiple battery chargers

Hey

Any of you guys use multiple battery chargers? I'm looking at this one

Appart from the obvious bonus of charging more than one battery at the time, are they the norm or do people still use single chargers as standard?

Any advice is appreciated

I have the etronix version of this.
IMO it is massive overkill for one guy racing one (or ever two) car(s).
I use it because I do 2cell buggy on one, 3 and 4 cell quads on the other 3 without having to change any settings once programmed.

And the etronix one is much cheaper...

TBH Col is right, unless you are racing serious numbers of classes at the same time, two chargers is enough.
I use one with serious grunt, 16A and a dedicated powersupply, and a second 6A charger, the PSU for this also runs cooling fan and anything else i fancy plugging in.
One for 8th scale (large capacity 4s/6s batteries) and the other for everything else. (sticks, saddles and shorties)

Oh, and FWIW, just think about the number of cables you'll require and what happens if one channel fails......

I've got this one with a smallish power supply and it's brilliant

And a lot less bulky than the quad charger and more powerful

Japes, I have the JP model you are thinking of. I take two lads racing and it's great compared with separate chargers. It's 2 years old now and not missed a beat. If it failed I'd buy another. It runs directly from 240v mains or 12v (car battery). Both leads are provided.
