I want a V8 blender!

Beef and brick

What?? It was infantile... pathetic... useless...

Compared to being able to race a car on a proper track anytime I like for £800, against a whole range of cars and people without the Health and Safety police? Now that's awesome!!

health and safety with him starting up that engine so close to everyone with no protection, some one is going to try and get clarkson done for that, you no what some people can be like, i thought it was a great idea,
i want one!

Lee 16-11-2008 09:21 PM

if they do they would be very stupid to think that their had been no risk assessments done or even if that was the first time that had been done with that equipment.

Plus whats wrong with starting an engine in a studio, what is the likely hood of something flying off?

bigoggy 16-11-2008 09:25 PM

i thought it was great.:D

i no, i totally agree with you but theres going to be some one who wants to discredit clarkson more than he has been already.
I mean take the exhausts for instance, he had very little exhaust on that engine with no silencers, just a manifold with some hollow pipes on the end, now if you looked closely you would have seen that the engine was backfiring (unburnt fuel in the exhaust igniting for people who dont no) and theres bound to be some t%%t who would see that as a fire hazzard
'oh no! jezzas brick could of caught fire which could have brought down the whole studio':lol::lol::lol:

I think the noise level would have been more of an issue.

i thought the engine sounded really nice without any silencers lol
Thats how all big engines should be like no silencers, no catalityc converters(or however you spell it), just a straight through stainless steel exhaust lol
maybe just one silencer at the end though, just to keep the nieghbours happy
