i am after some luck, after burning out 2 motors and a GTB speedo in 2 club nights :mad::thumbdown:

maybe try gearing your motors properly!:confused:

they were just a starting point, i cant see how hot they got after 5 mins when they burn out after 2

what car, gearing and motors were you using?

Maybe you should under gear the motor, say 8:1, then see how hot that gets.

Keep gearing up 1 tooth at a time until the motor gets hot, then go back down one.

My TC5 is geared around 8:1, using Novak GTB and 10.5. Comes off cool to the touch - both speedo and motor.
