sanwa exzes z antenna
 

chaps, i have a bit of a issue,
my daughter managed to break the antenna on my sanwa exzes z handset, i thought this would be easily fixed but it would appear im wrong. all the ones i have found as spare parts all list will fit exzes x, exzes z and m11. this is where it gets confusing. in the picture on the box to my exzes z the antenna is indeed the same as the x and the m11. but the handset itself is different to the picture, appears to be a newer design. the handset is approx 3 months old and was new when i got it, so this is standard equipment. anyone know where i can get one of these from? ive ordered the older style which does fit, but looks a bit crap.
can anyone help??

this is the only one i can find, which does fit but is different. ths larger piece is part of the antenna and is not interchangeable.

Yes, it was a running change. The early Z's came with the one that you've found as a spare, but they changed them due to an issue to the one with the larger area around the base.

I haven't ever seen the later ones as as spare part item. I guess it's a question for SMD as to if they can track them down.

Have you tried unscrewing the collar ?
I have one and remember tightening it not long after getting it but not tried to unscrew it, I'm sure it's just a later addition to strengthen it.
