Great Night

Really enjoyed last nights racing even though my final finished prematurely snapping the wishbone, still a great night though ;) ....well done to the young gun Isaac (hope I spelt it right) too for the A final victory, a really great driver sure to go onto bigger things :)

Really good group too, very helpful even for a minion like me with my 'L' plates on :p thanks to John for sorting me 'issue' out and cheers Jon for your coaching role, can I book you now for next time please  and cheers Neal for also sorting me out

Thanks to all at the club for a great Friday night - roll on the next one :woot:
Phil

It was a good night and starting to get the hang of it myself again after 12 years away from RC racing. Have you got your spares sorted? They are a good bunch at Cullingworth.

I guess its like riding a bike pal, you never lose it, you just get a tad rusty and polish up a bit.......myself I have never raced before and it shows but I'm loving it, better late than never I guess ;)

yeah got a few bits - just got back in now......I am a bit impatient and wanted to get my wishbone bought so I dashed over this morning after a job I had on so this afternoon I might be able to sit down and start the repair

I broke a wishbone on the other side the meeting before! Lol. I'd forgotten how good the crack was at racing definitely got the bug again.

I enjoy the crack at cullingworth too. Friendly people, good banter and we'll run.

anyone any tips for getting my shock caps off - I used a set of small pliers to hold the shock barrel whilst I used another pair of pliers to try to unscrew the cap, but no joy, just bothered of gripping it too tight and damaging it - or are they strong enough to withstand brute force with the pliers to open them?

If it's the plastic one's ive got some you can have bud. I used to put a screw driver through the cap hole and twist.
