Losi 22: 2.5mm Lightweight Aluminium Chassis

So Losi have announced a new chassis for the 22. Red RC claim its lighter, lowers the Center of Gravity, and it has a shorter wheelbase. The Red RC review says all this should improve the performance on low and medium grip surfaces. But I would be intrested to know how it would effect the high grip UK tracks.

My setups recently have involved loading the car up with as much weight as possible. SO a machined out chassis doesnt sound very appealing. But then the Low CoG and the shorter wheelbase sound like something i might like to try!

How can it be lighter 'and' lower the cog?

Interested to know how they managed this!

Definitely worth it.
The car feels more planted exiting the turns and completes the turn faster without the stall that can otherwise happen in the middle of the turn.

100% worthwhile. The only downside is that it makes the R/C space even more cramped.
