Painting buggy wings

What's the best way to paint a buggy wing?
I've tried before and the paint just flakes off over time with the wear and tear.
Paint on the inside or outside of the wing?

I usually give both sides a good rub down with scotchbrite or similar and then give them several light coats on both sides.
They will wear

I get through about 20 wings per shell.

So I don't bother.

Wash the inside with washing up liquid and hot water , dry with kitchen towel, paint inside then laquer to give a high gloss look

Similar to above, if it has a protective film, use that as your mask (you may need to use some RCS Graphics wash). I never scuff, as long as you apply the paint well, it will wear off rather than flake though, always lacquer to try and give it some life!
