410 at chadderton

My son ran his 410 for the first time here and the front tyres have worn more than the rears , is this normal for this car , he has only run it 4/5 times and we bought it second hand , not too sure what diff oils are in tbh ,

The 410 is quite light at the back, front tyres do take a pounding.
Bit of weight at the back should even it up a bit. Think I have every weight available in the back of mine! Side rail, under diff and skid plate.
As for oils, something like 10f/7r, 7f/5r wouldn't be a million miles out.
The twin slipper helps massively, but isn't cheap!

Ok thanks for that at the moment he has no weight at all in the back of his car

If its the 410V3 you might find fitting the new V4 two way slipper will help to even out the front to rear drive part number is TD210008.

This is the first thing i noticed when moving to new car that the tyre wear was far more even on the V4.

On my original v3 i was always doing 2 fronts to one pair rears.

Ok thank you , think I will go down the weight idea first , it's a bit less expensive

Curious... does it now do twice as many rears as it did, or half as many fronts?
