HPI flux pro 13.5

Evening all

I'm having a problem with this motor in my gt12. It's definitely the motor because I've tried different batteries and speed controls.

The motor feels gutless. It reaches a decent top speed but has no acceleration. It accelerates at the same rate with half throttle as it does with full throttle. The motor is mildly warm, about 35d after five mins. Geared it anywhere between 55 and 70mmpr, lower mmpr gives slightly more punch but destroys top speed as expected. Adjusting motor timing does little to change it.

Any ideas what could cause this?

Will probably be the sensor board Ian,i have same thing happen to an 8.5 flux i have.Worked but timing or turbo alterations on esc had no effect.

Steve.

Good call Steve. I'll try adding some esc timing to see if it makes a difference. If not its going in the bin

Added some boost and turbo. Absolutely no effect... Any way of saving it before the bin?

I geuss you've tried a new sencor lead or different esc ? I've got a 13.5t motor in my tc ,and have ran 6.5t flux's ,and they have always been good.

I've given the sensor board a thorough clean and it's sprung back to life.
