Club night Friday October 10th
 

So with the first round of the Micro Nationals heading to Hinckley on Sunday who's up for a spot of last minute thumb alignment at Caldi this Friday then? As usual we'll be running heats of micros and 2wd and 4wd 1/10th buggies in mixed heats seeded on ability. There has been a request for bump ups so maybe this could be discussed at drivers' briefing to gauge opinion?

It's something that has been asked for our Facebook page Brian so we are considering it, that's all

winner of the C final can join in the B final, winner of the B final can join in the A final

So the winner of each of the lower finals can 'bump up' into the next final making it possible for the person who qualifies last to finish first but not likely :woot:

There are some logistical problems with this idea and also some safety concerns as there is not enough time between finals to charge fresh batteries and there is a danger associated with running LiPos until they are flat etc

The time it takes to sort the computer is another concern as well as the marshalling problem as the driver bumping up should be marshalling the final they are now racing in

Hopefully this can all be discussed at drivers' briefing on Friday
