Lazer ZXR Lipo Tray

Hi guys

Looking to fix modern lipo into a base ZXR.

Can someone point me to the tray, clamps and clips needed please?

I use Associated B44 posts, drill holes at 75mm apart. Then I Countersunk 3mm holes from the bottom like in this pic, and insert a M3x6mm csk screw with a lock nut. This acts as a stopper to prevent movement of the battery horizontally. To clamp it down, I use schumacer Mi3 touring car rear shock towers as a battery strap, because it has a perfect 75mm spacing , and it was on sale at my LHS for almost half the price of the associated bars.

Hope these pictures help. Ive also designed a solid piece which believe fits in a Mk2 chassis as Iso asked me to design one. Also is my lazer with a tray in. Centre section on my car has a cf block and two side walls loke on the very left drawings.

Neil, yes all cf items sold by fibrelyte, link below in my name tag. Send pic to them of the bracket so you get the right one as I use a mk1 chassis as its better on high grip compared to mk2 version.

Check out the LiPo tray for Ass B44.2. They fit the Optima Mid and I have seen a few Lazer ZX and Lazer ZXR with them mounted.

Great. Would advise if getting those if there is a floor on those to cut away as i doubt youd get much more in there other than 4400 lipos. Quite possible thats what was done here to get the 5600s in. I use weights in the saddle holes on my chassis to get close to when i used 1700scrs so had to redesign the car to raise the top deck so i wouldnt have issues using 5600 with weights under neath. Still looks great
