Savox SC-1252MG / SV2 / Steering Issue

Alright guys. I'm hoping someone may be able to help.

I have a Savox SC-1252MG in my SV2 and the degree of steering to the left is fine but the steering to the right seems to be reduced as the servo arm has no more room to move.

Is there a way around this or have I fitted the servo incorrectly?

Cheers

Olie

Low profile servo's all give slightly less one way than the other don't know why, but have normally managed to get it fairly even by using the spacers supplied with the servo to move it to a position in the roller to get maximum space then adjust the link bar between the horn and the rack to get the steering you need.

This is how I have managed it on my losi's but not sure with the sv2

Hope this helps

Nice one, thanks for the reply. Its club night tonight so I'll give it a whirl tonight and see how it goes.

Thanks again

I've never struggled getting even throw out of Futaba low profile servos so I'm not sure "all" low profile servos have that issue.

I had a problem like that when I first got my sv2. It turned out the upgraded servo horn I put on was catching on the bulk head.

Make sure the servo is mounted high in the mount holes to prevent horn catching the lower bulkhead, I too had the same issue as above, also be warned the 1251/1252 does not like impacts, the gears are a lot weaker than the 1258.
The servo horn is offset to one side slightly more too on the savox lp servos
