fantastic day and I somehow made it into the 4wd B final, what does pL mean after my total time ( I assume it doesnt mean pŁnis licker !!!)
I started 12 very close to the loop does that have any bearing on it? steve taylor |

PL basically is a penalty, but as with me, it was as you say because you started so close to the loop it wrongly counted the first lap and so it was necessary to adjust. :thumbsup: We will need to add a couple more grid markers to permit more than the 10 cars in the future. Really enjoyed the event, a great days racing, good track layout. Thanks to Bury Metro for organising & running an excellent memorial meeting and donating the proceeds to a worthy charity. Will definitely race again next year......

I do agree the straight can't take 2 more car slots. Its a pity as the track itself coped really well with 12 cars (wasn't crowded at all) and we really never had an issue until the finals. That said - 11/12 cars did help us keep to the time schedule all day and we finished at a good time, so it was justified in the end. But special occasions only. |
