Think those vintage results are a little bit wrong! Lol

Si Coe 07-09-2014 07:56 PM

The vintage results are for the transponders.

I had to work out the results manually.

fantastic day and I somehow made it into the 4wd B final, what does pL mean after my total time ( I assume it doesnt mean pŁnis licker !!!)

I started 12 very close to the loop does that have any bearing on it?

Steve, glad you enjoyed the day pal.

PL basically is a penalty, but as with me, it was as you say because you started so close to the loop it wrongly counted the first lap and so it was necessary to adjust.

We will need to add a couple more grid markers to permit more than the 10 cars in the future.

Hope we see you back very soon.

Darren

No we won't. We will have to have no more than 10 cars in finals! There is no more room for extra grids without having grids uphill!

Really enjoyed the event, a great days racing, good track layout. Thanks to Bury Metro for organising & running an excellent memorial meeting and donating the proceeds to a worthy charity. Will definitely race again next year......

I do agree the straight can't take 2 more car slots. Its a pity as the track itself coped really well with 12 cars (wasn't crowded at all) and we really never had an issue until the finals.
That said - 11/12 cars did help us keep to the time schedule all day and we finished at a good time, so it was justified in the end. But special occasions only.
