KO Propo Esprit III Universe

I'm looking for this transmitter, but does anyone know where it can be bought relatively cheap? I've seen it for £270. I'm interested in the 40Mhz and 2,4Ghz version.

DMS has it at 279 for 40mhz amd 294 for the 2.4ghz one.

Yes but isn't buying transmitters from outside Europe forbidden? I know some people who were less fortunate and had their orders destroyed by customs. Do you know other people who didn't have problems with ordering in HK as well?

Great service from RC mushroom everytime I use them:thumbsup:

Do you guys like it? I'm using the Futaba T-3VCS now but I've always been a fan of the Esprit III.

The esprit 3 is a really nice bit of kit. The menu is so easy to use compared to the 3VC. Sit's nice in your hands aswell
It's alright saying how you got it for under £200, but how about supporting UK shops?!

I'm Belgian, and here we can only buy it for about £363, which is very expensive. So the only alternatives are the UK and Holland. Have you experienced the loose and wobbly sticks as well?

ben 05-11-2008 08:15 PM

yeh i accidentley dropped it at york putting it away. All araldited back together now though. My sticks are still as strong as they were before i dropped it, well after it was araldited together :woot:

So it's a nice transmitter? Any other experiences with it, pros and cons?

Had the Type R before the Esprit 3 and i wouldn't go back. Aside from the cheap looking plastic chrome, its the perfect stick tranny in my opinion.

With current exchange rates you are going to be looking at £240 ish GBP delivered at the moment. Add VAT if you are unlucky then it wont be very much cheaper than UK prices.

The pound has taken a beating against the dollar of late.

cyclone 05-11-2008 10:43 PM

yeah i really like it i had a type R to then got this its ace lots of stuff on it you can move the sticks to suit your thumb's ect my lhs are doing them for £300
