It is with much sadness that we have to report the death of Yorcc Chairman Derek Bradby.

Derek passed away at the weekend. He’d been the club chairman for 17 years and a member for even longer. He made a massive contribution to Yorcc and he will not be forgotten.

Our thoughts go to his son Paul and the rest of the family.

Derek goes back many ,many years..(almost as long as me.!).. Not seen him for a long time, but, back in the day, he was very involved in the N.E. Region.
As I remember, a really, really nice guy and fully committed to the RC world.
My condolences to all his family and friends.

Such a shame.

Very sad to hear. Great guy and North east consortium would not be around without him.
