aluminium outdrives
What are people's experience with running them? What is the wear rate like? Far worse than steel? Just curious as seen mip releasing them with their driveshafts
Beside the fact they may wear out quicker what's the benefit of using them over the standard?
they don't wear as they are designed to run with the MIP puck system, which uses plastic bushings on the drive pins
AFAIK less rolling mass/drive train drag = more responsive on power performance ... would benefit blinky class mainly but possibly at the detriment of one's wallet (cost of replacing 'blades/pucks')
I wonder if these would be a direct fit for the Aero rear cvd's ? -just checked schumacher site; they would since there is just one cvd stock# for the factory cvds  |
