Esc and motor options

Hi all

Been out of it for a while but looking to get new esc and motor for around £150 in total

I was looking at a dualsky 870 esc and motor - any thoughts on these or are there other good recommendations for esc and motors for the price.

Advice is welcomed

What's it for

Suspect the learned folks on here will need to know what you need it for? On / off road, scale etc. what model is it going in? 2wd /4wd?

I'd consider a Vampire SR1 or SR1+, available from about £70 to £100 brand new and 7.5 or 8.5 motor. I run the nosram octa wind motors and find them reliable, fast and with the Vampire speedo seem nice and smooth too.

I run a turnigy 120amp turbo esc and turnigy 6.5 motor and all in cost £65 and really impressed with it.

+1 for the vampire sr1

my son runs the sr1+ in his 4wd and it is super smooth and very quick straight out of the box
for a 2wd with a 7.5t you could get the sr1 for £70, a good motor for £60 and put £20 back in your pocket
simple:D
