Transmitter Lipo question

Hi I'm looking at putting a Lipo in to my transmitter
Been looking at a few on Google and the likes and everyone r seems to use 3s lipos
Do I have to use 3s or can one or my smaller 2s do the job thanks

What lipo you use depends on how many AA batteries the transmitter requires. 4xAA = 2S LiPo, 8xAA = 3S.

Be aware that some 6v/4AA radios don't play nicely with a fully charged 2s Lipo at 8.4v. Better off using a life battery which goes to 7.2 iirc.

Sorry it's a fly sky gs-gt3b
It's 8xaa so 3s is the way to go there only cheap so it's no prob for me to pick one up I didn't think it mattered which transmitter it was for that why I never mentioned it
