It is ace.

The features are not difficult to get over - but there is time advantage in getting them right. It should be VERY raceable - rather than being a obstacle course.

The surface is a dream - I tried worn mini-spikes - it was good. I think pins will have a slight edge, but I don't think there will be any advantage with spankers - used ones from Worksop will be about right I feel.

The straight is in the correct place and is satisfyingly long with a full 180 deg sweeper at the end- :)

The actual venue is really superb - it's a brand new building so 100% draft-free, nice and warm with lots of pitting space.

Bring on tomorrow.

Little short of the mark @ 12 in 325.??, but I made 1st 3 the B and finished top 3. Happy with that as I can't recall when I last ran a competition indoors.

Richard Lowe 03-11-2008 09:24 AM

Well done to Woody and the club for puting on a great event :)

The track and markings were really good, the little jumps used for the set of four jumps need to be a bit stronger next time as from round three onwards they were different every lap :(

The layout was really good to race on, I had a really good race with Bradders in the 4wd final :D
