All,

We need to agree a date, time and venue for the AGM. Any body got any opinions on this?

This is becoming more pressing as BRCA renewals for the club and members are now due. We must notify the BRCA of 4 officers of the club, these people will get "free BRCA membership", however last year these people donated their membership fee to the club.

Business to be considered :
1. Election of Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and other officers of the club.
2. Formally agree consitution for the club.
3. Club logo?
4. Membership fees for 2009
5. Accounts
6. Any other proposals (should be registered 2 weeks prior to the meeting, so begin/Mid Nov at latest.

If you have any proposals for the meeting please add to this thread.

Thanks for your support this year and let's have a good turn out at the AGM.

My proposal is that we should have this meeting soon and on a weekend to get a better attendance...

I'd like someone to be a promotions officer, or some people to coordinate club promotion, to get leaflets printed, advertise in colleges, schools, in conjuction with local press. promote the club to attract more people.

Also, regional officers, who organise the regionals.

I'd like to propose a 6monthly buggy championship, running on the last week of the month, as previous. With trophy for the winner, prizes for most improved, prize for best driving. etc. Best 5 of 6 rounds to count. Not, based on a league table, rather than a final race off.

I'd like to propose a XMAS NIGHT OUT!!!, xmas curry night, or meal, or whatever we could involve everyone in. :thumbsup:

Personally as I said tonight to Ian it's all well and good saying stuff like this but it never works, or the person who's supposed to do it doesn't and it gets dropped from a great height on someone else, (usually me).

Just getting the accounts finished today. Hope there's a good turn out for the AGM tonight.
