Schu. stagger ribs -vs- mini pins indoors?

Anyone able to shed some light as to the difference in grip between stagger ribs and mini pins indoors (polish/carpet)?

Obviously in whatever compound is sensible for indoors lol

Only ever use yellow minipins front and rear.. The only time ive used staggered ribs was at the petit rc race in paris last year as it was all carpet..

I find when the rear pins wear stagger ribs give a less tail happy ride on polished wood but you loose turn in on carpet.

idealy brand new just scrubbed in yellow mini pins on the rear and the same on the front with the first outer and inner rows of pins cut off, thats the combo I'll be using at the gp.

with the b44 I'm using slightly worn mini spikes all round again fronts with just the outer row cut off.

I think it was Brian Goodhall that gave me some solid advice with tyres!

Run the same type and compound front and back unless you are really struggling with oversteer or understeer. This should mean that the car (if setup okay...) should handle fairly predictably. It is just then fine tuning with springs, camber links, ride height to get the car exactly where you want it.
