In preperation for the York regional, I think I'll be running my 4WD for all but one round this Tuesday, where I will be trying my 2WD. Does anyone else fancy running their 2WD for one round?

turbo_brick 30-10-2008 12:18 PM

I think you should run it all night, then we could have a 2wd heat aswell.

chrispattinson 30-10-2008 12:33 PM

That night we tried 2WD Peter, we were all creased up laughing, never mind racing, its just too frustrating on the slippy floor, thats all. But 1 heat I might manage, just to check it works.

N7ELA 30-10-2008 04:06 PM

Sounds like a good idea chris. I was gonna give the B4 a race or 2 anyway...

chris68nufc 31-10-2008 07:19 PM

Im defo taking the cat then to see if i can at least beat a 2WD :o

Anybody fancy lending me a quick servo until i get round to getting 1?

mr emily 03-11-2008 08:11 PM

is it on 4/11/08

Is the school open tomorrow? Emily thinks there is a burst pipe.

N7ELA 03-11-2008 08:18 PM

Waaaaaattttttt. Tell alfie al be round first thing in the morning with me spanners to fix it... Need to finalise me setup.....

emzy 03-11-2008 08:19 PM

Emily doesn't just "think" there's a burst pipe! The school's closed until Wednesday because of it... it was on the council website!

turbo_brick 03-11-2008 08:50 PM

Emily's right, but Alfie being the excellent caretaker that he is, will be opening the school just for us:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Although it'll be cold like last week.:thumbdown: Driving on an ice rink anyone??

Peter

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....

3 cheers for Alfie. :D

chris68nufc 03-11-2008 09:55 PM

At least i will have an excuse for having no grip with my Cat!!
Looking forward to it as long as my servo and tyres turn up tomorrow.

chrispattinson 04-11-2008 08:09 AM

Atleast we'll all have a chance of winning tonight, A main dominator David Pack isn't racing!!!!

N7ELA 04-11-2008 03:05 PM

Thats cos he knows im going and i'll lash him...

chris68nufc 04-11-2008 10:21 PM

Really good tonight but how are we going to keep up with James? I had a few dices with people in the final and really enjoyed myself. Stripped a servo horn still but my servo munched it up rather than the other way around. Impressed with the 1015 Ace servo. Highly recommended!

Geoff Thomas 04-11-2008 11:15 PM

dont even talk to me about servos LOL:confused:

chrispattinson 05-11-2008 07:56 AM

Don't even talk to me about how to keep up with James. :/

I couldnt get there last night guys, been a bit tricky racing with no transmitter !! Depending on the weather i may do the regional at york on sunday, if its bad ill be there but if its goin to be fine ill be racing 8th scale. I should be able to get in for the regional a day or two before as it doesnt look all that full !
Chris, what servo horn are you using with your ace ? Although they are similar futaba ones arent a proper fit and they do strip. You really need to use one of the proper ace horns, if you dont have one just let me know i have bags full of them.
Jimmi.......

Sure it wasn't wasn't your little diggit you bent & Bury ;)

How is the poor thing?

chris68nufc 05-11-2008 08:25 AM

Jimmi. It was a KO horn. It seemed to fit like a glove but it got killed after the 1st crash! Ace servos arent scared of my cat. KO ones are though!
Chris Green AKA F.I.F.O.(First in first out) :p gave me an original Ace one which was awesome. Cat went not bad last night. Wish i had new boots on last night. I think it would have made a big improvement. Heard about the fall. Everything ok?

chrispattinson 05-11-2008 08:38 AM

Just thought of a new excuse for being behind James for us Chris. We're still working on LIPO setups, James has yet to do that. Will that do?????

At least I'm not miles behind everyone, like I was when I first put LIPOS in [and then put my NIMH in for the finals], and you are definately getting there with the CAT.

Good to get a bit 2WD practice in last night, feeling good for the weekend.
