hello there

can someone explain how the scoring works?

does it go off how many meetings you have attended and them accumalate points from that?

cheers

birdy 28-07-2014 02:18 PM

Will try to explain...

If you win the A final you get 100 points, if you TQ the meeting you get an additional 1 point.

So if you end up say 5th you get 96 points, 6th you get 95 points and so on going down through the finals.

The points table at present are calculating everyone's total scores, so if you have done all 5 rounds the total will be of all 5 rounds.

At the end of 7 rounds it will work out each drivers best 4 scores from the 7 rounds, or if you have only done 3 rounds they will be added together.

Hope that is clear enough.

yeah i understand it slightly....

what i dont get is how come drivers with a lower abilty are quite high up in the table....is this cause they have done more/all meeting to date thus have more points?

cheers

Because the worst scores haven't been dropped yet and best four then apply.

You have never asked me and I'm the one who sorts them out.

Yes that's correct, they have done more/all meetings, the table is only showing totals at present. Best 4 of 7 will be calculated after round 7.

I remember now, I left after round 4 as it rained hard. Do I not score any points if I don't do the final ?

Gavin Collingwood 29-07-2014 07:54 AM

No as you went home

Si Coe 29-07-2014 09:39 AM

If you go home and ask me to remove you from the system it automatically deletes ALL your results from the day. Its like you never took part. To score you have to race the final.

If I I can finish in the top 10 I will be well chuffed
