Bury's Regional

We had a very good regional meeting today. Thanks to Gavin for the track design, Si for running race control and the Bury members who came down to help out and didn't race.
Thanks to all.

Some great racing out there today - Chris and Paul were really on form today and pushing the established names hard. More of this please - especially both A's which were seriously nail biting.

But the performance of the meeting must go to Gavin. His attempts to pretend he wasn't miffed about being soundly beaten by Chris should net him an Oscar nomination :)

Great meeting, thanks to everyone at Bury club .

Gavin Collingwood 20-07-2014 09:34 PM

Fair play to Chris was fast today and my car wasn't on it, Won't happen again..... :-) starting at stotfold.

Great day, and even the rain stayed away leading to a lovely hot afternoon. Well run and day went smoothly. Thanks.

Really enjoyed yesterday, great meeting, track and an all round superb day out :-) well done to Chris elworthy whose car looked awesome all day, chasing Woody in the final was great to watch! (I mean marshall, obviously!)

danDanEFC 21-07-2014 09:47 AM

Thanks for a great day, the new track is a hundred times better than the old one.

My best result this year, may have even been better but for the restarted final. :-(

Si Coe 21-07-2014 03:00 PM

Sorry about having to restart your final but that's what happens when you let a Holdsworth near race control. Luke steps in the door and seconds later the transponder loop dies. Coincidence? I think not.

Thanks for the nice comments lads, hope I can keep that sort of pace up!!
