s22jgs 19-07-2014 03:52 PM

i use the lee martin stuff... though it is just 3M mirror tape and you can buy it from B&Q for half the price

dodgydiy 19-07-2014 05:52 PM

car trim tape, works really well, basically the same tape as you get in halfords for numberplates but on a bigger reel..

fidspeed 19-07-2014 08:26 PM

VHB gel tape varios widths and lengths

fleabay is where I get mine (specialist tapes )

mark christopher 19-07-2014 08:34 PM

Gel tape as the others, sticks well and peels off in one piece when needed to

dpackster1980 20-07-2014 09:53 AM

As Mark said but Losi stuff is excellent and doesn't leave a mess.

Welshy40 20-07-2014 11:02 AM

Halfords sell a black tape roll with green backing for a small amount of money and does the job really well.

Dazzler 20-07-2014 11:25 AM

As Fidspeed, I get the vhb acrylic gel tape from here: -

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Double-Sid...item27caddb904

Great adhesive and isolating properties, comes in various widths, comes away cleanly and easily only when required.

The seller is also open to best offers too, so you can grab a bargain :woot:

luke 20-07-2014 11:55 AM

Cool Iv go e for the 1.1mm 3m vhb stuff

Darren Boyle 20-07-2014 12:26 PM

The 3M stuff is also sold by Tuning Haus but at far less money than other brands who sell the same thing. Ultra sticky, sticks straight away and peels off in one easy piece too...

The Parma gel type stuff is also very good but takes longer for the glue to set/go off

luke 20-07-2014 12:47 PM

Ok cheers Darren
