Neil,
That avatar isn't as good as the old one. The picture of your sister and her friend was far more pleasing on the eye ;-)

chrispattinson 27-10-2008 12:35 PM

So you've met Neil's sister aswell

Got a whole new setup on the TRF for Tuesday - its going to be Gud or Crud!

Might be time to go to mini spikes though, so I can get used to driving on them for York. 2 Weeks to go.

Still havnt made up my mind on the whole one way vs diff thing. York is usually one way though.

was my sister and me mam... :p

Im out of action again. This cat thing is starting to irritate me. I somehow has squashed the cone shaped diff washers flat. Obviously too tight when i rebuilt it at Worksop to fit new outdrive that shattered. Havent got a servo or tyres either. Im getting fed up of racing at the moment.

chrispattinson 28-10-2008 08:53 AM

Chris, race your B4, or race my Schumacher CAT, or see if you can make the A final with the club car - now there's a challenge. You could just put a cut down spring in the diff, or put the rear diff in from the front and a one way spool in the front. Or race your BJ4.

Lets be straight here though lads .............. it's time to stop *#!£$$ing about, and nail a setup for the indoor regionals, and I for one am miles away!

Dalla 28-10-2008 04:47 PM

Lads,
I know this is last minute, but we need all hands on deck tonight because I have the industrial shelving for the rostrum. Dropped it off today, so it needs carrying into the hall and sorting/putting away.

chrispattinson 29-10-2008 10:45 AM

I can't believe Pack won again!!!!!!

Got the Tamiya setup well though, looks like Ive nailed the Lipo setup for it, TQing by quite a bit. Pity I stuffed it into the side of the table top in the final and broke a shock shaft. Good racing again though.
Good effort by all to get the new rostrum put away.
Good to see Craig getting on the pace aswell, full spikes all the way! Jeff seemed to be going much better once he took the one way out.
Hope everyone is getting themselves booked in to the indoor club series. PM me if anyone is having trouble getting booked in.
First one is York club in 1 1/2 weeks, then South Shields on 30th Nov. Our Jarrow round is in Feb.

Last night went a lot better for me too, i had changed loads of stuff on the car after last week and it definately paid off. First time ever the car felt as though it was on the pace, its still very different to the 8th scale cars i usually drive but i think ill get there. Im only doin the 10th scale stuff to keep my thumbs in check as there isnt that much rallycross doing in the winter, hopefully the car control on the slippy floor will help a lot too !
Chris let me know about picking them jumps up on the way next week..
Oh and for some reason i didnt pay to race last night, ill pay for two weeks next tuesday.
Jimmi....

Its a pity Lifo (Last in first out) pack cant produce any performances in any regionals, Cant turn up to jarrow on a regular basis and cant help with the track.....

I only wish i had been there to lash him for you chris...

chris68nufc 31-10-2008 07:23 PM

Lifo. Quality. He gets wrecked at outdoor Regionals and blames that on his bad perfomances. If he raced on a straight head im sure he could become an F1. Whatever.

Really enjoyed Tuesday night guys! First time racing since Stotfold National in August... and second time racing since I got back from "ze other side"... Definitely a good giggle and was well chuffed to qualify 2nd... even if my batteries died on me in the final!

Loved the floor... reminds me of Brinkburn "back in the day". Good times!
