that looks good, would be interesting to see what it turns out like though! maybe you could put the 4cells across the back and then a further two next to the motor rather than next to the slipper assembly???

ben 26-10-2008 11:54 PM

He only runs 5 cells Matt! ;)

Mike Hudson 27-10-2008 12:41 AM

Looks interesting i think one of atomic carbon's first prototype s2's used the rear end of a bj4we but had a xxxcr front end instead correct me if i'm wrong:confused:, will be good to see how it turns out with a b4 fornt end and howwell it handles on different types of track grip and stylewise,

Thomas P 27-10-2008 06:45 AM

Nice to hear what ya think boys =).

See if i have any time today to do the batteryslots...dont think so, but i´l do my best to do it. Today it is 1:18 practice all day long, :D

Thomas P 29-10-2008 09:07 AM

Why not use the GT2 front part?

G

AndyM 29-10-2008 09:23 AM

or even an X6 from nose cone?

looks like a good idea though :). Good Luck!

OldTimer 29-10-2008 01:07 PM

GT2 front end is a direct bolt on to flat CF and accepts all the B4 front end parts, drop me a email if you need one Thomas.

I found with the motor location you are using you get a lot of torque steer, and you must use the B44 slipper, as the BJ4WE works like a switch and you will got loads of wheel spin.

The best option i found was to spin the motor / housing around 180 deg, then turn the rear gearbox upside down, this got rid of the torque steer, and gave even better weight distribution.

Thomas P 29-10-2008 03:31 PM

you got PM Mr J :D:D:D

Thomas P 29-10-2008 03:38 PM

damn..my CF wont be enough for a chassi...wit wont be more width then the motormount, maybe some more..not sure to fit in some cells on the opposite side...

Maybe this one will be Version 1, ordering some more CF, and then do a Version 2 :)

Thomas P 29-10-2008 06:43 PM

Så...nu börjar det blir mer..ytterligare en slot skall till...

That looks great! Looking forward to seeing it complete!! :D

Mike Hudson 29-10-2008 08:33 PM

looks great, personally think it would be better with 3 cells on the non-motor side and 2 on motor side for good weight balance and a little more power, i don't think 4 cell would be very good, like you have in one of your earlier pics

Thomas P 30-10-2008 05:25 AM

Mike i think you are right about that. i hadnt any time yesterday to finish the 5th and final slot :( it will come, app like the S4..so stay tune :):)

Thomas P 30-10-2008 08:40 PM

Finaly im almost done...only frontend and battery strap left. The FE i cant do anything about, ordred and i hope it will arrive next week...Batterystrap will be made Friday :D
