X-Ray T4 14 17.5T LRP X20 BLINKY
 

Hello,

I have an X-ray T4 2014. My car is fitted with a 48DP 68T Spur and 48DP 36T pinion. I am running a 17.5T X20 LRP motor fitted with a 27.5 timing insert.

My top speed is 28.5KPH however, the others racing are hitting a top speed of about 34.3.

Now my question is, would changing the timing insert to 37.5 or 42.5 give me a higher top end? If not what would be the next best step?

Before you buy, ask 1 of the guys to do a run with 1 of there lipo's for comparison if still the same then get the timing insert but yes the LRP x20 do run ok with high timing
