Kyosho Equalizer shock body material
 

I have been considering getting the bodies of some NIP Equalizer shocks anodised.
Can anyone confirm the bodies are alloy (and not cast) and therefore can be anodised?

looking at the colour of the equalizer shocks i would say they are hard anodised, this process eats into the alloy as far as i am aware....so may cause damage to them if you attempt to re anodise them.
