Procat belts
Are there any options for new stronger Procat belts?

Which ones ? The main long drive belt or the two rear belts

Both/all

You can either thrall ebay and wait for some more new high toque rear drive belts like I did, and that took me 7 months or buy old ones.
Or you can do Luke's 6mm belt conversion you will need a overdrive front pulley, a belt from the us, a 6mm collar for the layshaft and some pulley fences making. It just so happens I have all you need for the conversion apart from the collar which I'm in the middle of getting sorted. |
Can you point me to details of the conversion? I think I'd rather keep the standard size front pulley though

Is it a "3m" size belt ?

Luke got his belts from these people, size needed is MXL, 320T and 6mm, use the polyurethane, kevlar reinforced one as he says the orange one is too stretchy

If you do want to do it Graham I have got a couple of the sdi Kevlar belts spare

I've also done the 6mm belt conversion but used the standard front diff. You just need to order a 324 tooth belt instead of a 320 tooth. I did a write up on the conversion on the schumacher forum a while back:
