MK GP '08 marshall needed. Will pay real cash money!
 

Dear all,

Ive booked in for 2WD (Saturday 15th November) at the MK GP, but need someone to marshall for me.

I had spinal surgery last week and can stand up and sit down, but can do very little else, and deffo cannot run around (waddle?) marshalling!

If anyone out there is going to the event and is willing to marshall all my marshalling stints I will gladly pay you real proper cash money.

Id like to hope that id end up in one of the middle heats incase anyone is wondering if their heats will clash.

but if it comes down to somebody only helping you out for cash, and not out of generosity, then that would be an utter disgrace.

In my opinion the MK GP is the best event this end of the UK all year, and although I really probably shouldnt be booking in id cry my little eyes out if I missed it lol

But in the same token I dont want to put anyone out by saying "oh I cant marshall so youll need to cover me" cos unless you really try and get cover its just not right.

If anyone is able to help then, umm...ill buy you lots of coffee during the day and food too, if you feel unable to take my cash :)

What ability did you put your self down as Cris?

All i would like in return is loads coffeeand food as it probs be cold

Am I allowed to feed you any form of caffeine or sugar? Might prove a bad move on my part if I do although it work well for those fast marshalling situations lol.

I put myself as a 6/7, no doubt alot higher than it should have been lol
You watch the likes of Pidge, Cragg, Drescher and Bloomfield race on the Saturday and you'll understand that personal ability just is trivial compared to the skills that they have with a 2WD lol

we can put you down as car 8 in your heat we had intended putting that marshall point somwhere not very important because we have a few younger drivers this time and were going break them in slowly by not making them marshal (there under 10)

so what im saying is dont worry too much we will not drop your ftd if you dont find a marshall as long as we at race control are aware,
having back surgury is painfull in its self im sure without tripping over the piping and hurting your self more.
