Tm2 vs tm2v2

Having just got a tm2 and loving it, I am wondering what the difference is on the v2 model? I looked at one in my local shop and was tempted but thought I should ask what has changed and if it is quantifiably better.

I recently asked exactly the same question on teamC forum. See link below for responses

I’ve seen both cars running back to back at my local club (with the same setup on each) there wasn’t much between them. I know Steve who owns both is on oople so he may comment about the feel of the V2. The V2 does look nice and Team C have made some good upgrades but for me, apart from being able to get to your diff easier and that you can change your pinion without removing the motor these are the only real benefits. If you own a V1 I personally wouldn’t rush out to buy a V2 just upgrade the motor mount.

V2 v V1

Im currently running the V2 & found it has far more traction on low grip, & is incredibly nimble.
The V1 was very good but the V2 has really raised the bar.
I must say I've only run it so far on Astro turf but I have ran it in the wet & when the traction was very high.
Even when wet the V2 was superb were the V1 would have been a right handful.
My advice would be to get a V2! You'll not regret it!

The v1 skips across ripples etc with ease whereas my v2 flicks it back up a bit erraticly.
The v2 has loads more steering to the point where i am running almost bald staggers on the with foams on the rear.
The v1 is way more calmer and forgiving but the v2 can be thrown around loads more and will be much quicker on high grip.
You just have to ask yourself if 260 odd quid or thereabouts is worth it for the new awesome back end though.I say yes:)
