That torch on the bottom of the Futaba might be a bit off putting :eh?:

you can probably turn that off or change it's colour like on the 3VCS

DaveG28 27-08-2014 10:43 AM

I believe the KO is imminent, anyone heard good or bad things about it during testing?

JohnM 10-11-2014 03:17 PM

Has anyone got the KO yet?

A mate got his last week & it had four cracks in the case straight out of the box, is this bad luck or a bit common?

h0m3sy 11-11-2014 09:21 PM

Sounds like bad luck mate, I got mine last week with no issues. A couple of the other lads in the local club have them too, again no issues.

Could you give us some impressions on how it feels and perform compared to Esprit III?
Thanks a lot for your time.

I'll be using it for the first time tonight mate, I never had the Esprit 3 so won't be able to compare them.

Looking for any feedback on the KO too please!?

First impressions of the new transmitter are excellent, so easy to set up and use and when used with a KO servo, it's fast, really fast! It has all the functions you will ever need and more. I set mines up as per Tom Cockerill video. I did have to adjust the steering and throttle "feel" function to suit my driving but this is easily done. The direct buttons are good as they can be set to the menus you would use the most without having to go through other menus to get to the one you want. This is my first stick transmitter in about 25yrs, I've been using a wheel transmitter since I started back racing about 5yrs ago. I decided to get this transmitter as our local off road club recently held a 12hr endurance race in aid of Children In Need, the team I was in all used sticks so I had to use them as well. It really is a great piece of kit, I'm winning with it already :)
