Has anyone raced on the Colchester grass track before? if so what is it like. Trying to figure out whether it's worth traveling down on Sunday for the club meet as have itchy thumbs!

Yes, it's normally quite fast and flowing, bloody good fun to drive and race on.

Well,worth a trip down.

Its' a good venue, with a nice rostrum. The grass track is normally large and tends to flow well with a good selection of natural undulations making for fast and close racing.

Sounds like a nice track and the videos look great too.

Decided to miss this one and will likely go to the next one early June as need to prep for a trip to Paris on Monday.

Now I'm starting to think simon is just using this part of the forum to name drop what part of the word he is heading to on the monday:lol:

Busted! This is my update schedule, off to Qatar in the middle-east on Monday but would love to take the buggy, but not on sand. That would bugger the motor I would think. They certainly don't have grass out there as it never rains, probably loads of dirt tracks though. :p
