Indoor carpet tyres !!!
 

Hi, has anyone tried these new white compound Schumacher Venom 88 carpet tyres,

our local indoor club runs indoor on 95% carpet and fancy giving them a go on my SV2.

any advice and reviews would be helpful thanks.:woot:

Couple of us have used them on carpet at Spa Racing, only thing I would say is keep them clean as build up of rubber and tire additive makes them slippery .

The venom 88 in white compound is now a control tyre for the buggies at marstons Rc club. We use schumacher hard insert inside them. No addative and they go great. We have found they offer a lot of grip and wear very well. Every body loves using them.

Cheers Adey, just received some in my schumacher order with the hard inserts and mounted on wheels to give them a go tomorrow night, will let you know what I think on Saturday lol

How do they work on slippy stuff? We run carpet on wood floor

The first run will be a little lower on traction as they settle in. You should find they get better by the end of the run. After the first run they should be fine. As I said though, everyone at our club loves them and cannot believe how hard wearing they are.

Do you use the same compound front and rear and do you use additive on the front and rears?

I tried them on grass and they had very little grip. Has anyone tryed them on astro turf if so are they any good?
